ANVEILMI Collection FW SS19

Can you believe it's February again and it's fashion week. Well let me tell you how I had the pleasure to experience one of my highlights of my makeup career thus far. So last year in February I was apart of the FYID international fashion show. It was incredible and it was multiple designers in one show so it was a little hectic to say the least. I enjoyed every minute of it, and I wanted more opportunities when it came to New York Fashion Week. So I thought I was prepared for the next fashion week which would be rolling in September. I was wrong. I didn't book anything. I was pretty much a spectator on Instagram. I was so down on myself that I didn't take advantage or reach out to anyone. I knew when fashion week came around again, I couldn't afford to let that happen once more. I prayed and started sending endless emails to various people and reached out to colleague of mine as well. Some time around January I started following a talented makeup artist. She posted that needed help for an upcoming show for fashion week. I saw her Instagram post, I figured I would email her. Long story short, she emailed me back and asked if I was available on Thursday. I thank my lucky stars that everything worked out perfectly schedule wise that I was available. I responded and the rest was history. I was one of many talented makeup artists assisting Eve Chen for ANVEILMI FW SS 19/20 collection by Alessandro Tricone. I'm still am in awe just uttering the words. I still cant believe it. I am so grateful and humbled to be apart of an amazing show so early on in my career. I'm so happy and hungry for me. I know this is just the beginning. The energy and people was so positive. Met some great people and met the designer himself, other than being super talented, he's so sweet and humble. It was such an amazing experience. I reposted Eve Chen so I can include all the wonderful I met and made the show possible. They were awesome and deserve so much credit.
